Today

I am sorry that it has been a while since that I have posted,but life has gotten the better of me and I have slacked. This one is going to be a short one though.

Today I went to church with April. She has been asking me to go for a little while and I have wanted to but like I said life gets the better of me sometimes and it is hard. I am not one that has gone to church a lot because my parents never went to church, yes I know that this in no excuse but thats how it is.

I have been thinking for a long time that I would like to find a church to belong to. Somewhere that I felt welcome.
I tried to go to several different churches, but there were always things that made me feel uncomfortable. Like I wasnt really welcome. Well today was nothing like that. I have never felt more welcome at a church than I have today. Everyone that greeted me did so with a smile. Within the first five or ten minutes of being there I met Pastor Randy and he was so nice. He shook my hand and introduced himself. And never in all the places that I have gone has anyone done that.

So I want to say to everyone that goes to Elston Family Church, whether I met you or not THANK YOU for making me feel so welcome. I hope to see you all again.
