Music and other topics

For everyone that has their speakers on when they come to my page. I just wanted to explain my music choices. ( I know I dont have to, but I want to) Now usually I am not the heavy rock type of person. I prefer independent artist, and 80s music. But the other week my husband bought the new Linkin Park cd. Amazingly I started listening and I really liked it. It took a couple of listens to understand some of the words but once I heard them I realized that they had meaning to them. And I was hooked.



On to other things. I had a nephew that was born shortly after mothers day and I have been working on a baby blanket for him. I can honestly say that I have made a blanket for each and everyone of Mikes sisters kids. He has two sisters and a step sister. Although they may have been a little late I have gotten them done. I dont know when I am going to get Elisa's done for Xavior, but I might be taking it to california if I can fit it in my carry on. If not I will be making some more dishclothes on the way there.



After I work on the baby blanket I might work some more on my Journal or I might try making some yo-yo blocks for a quilt. I have a lot of time to kill today, as I dont have to work, and dont have any plans until 4. I am going to go pickup Kathy and then we are going to go see Sex and The City. We have had this planned for about a year. We were supposed to go the day it came out but I had a showing to go to for my Aunt June. Then we were supposed to go see it on Sunday afternoon but the she had to go to a showing for her Aunt. So we are going to go today.
